Salvia nemorosa, also called sage belongs to the Lamiaceae family.
It is a deciduous hardy plant, characterised by its aromatic long narrow leaves and flowers that hang from it in large clusters.
They bloom from June until the first frost.
Salvia nemorosa's favourite spot in the garden is planted in the sun in a clumping well-drained soil.
