Digitalis

'Foxglove'

All About Digitalis

Digitalis purpurea, also known as foxglove belongs to the Plantaginaceae family. It has an upright growth habit and long spikes set with tubular flowers that appear in shades between pink and purple, sometimes white, with purple speckles in the throat.

They flower from May to June.

These are very easy plants because they grow in difficult places, even in deep shade between trees and bushes as long it's not too dry.
