Gaura

Gaura lindheimeri, also called splendid candle, belongs to the Onagraceae family. It is a deciduous hardy plant whose characteristic feature is its long stems with delicate flowers (white or pink) on them, this makes them weave in the wind.

 

They flower in June, July, August, September, October

 

Gaura lindheimeri's favourite spot in the garden is in full sun as they like a dry lime-mineral well-drained soil. Don't water too much.
