Gaillardia

Gaillardia, also called 'Kokardebloem' belongs to the family of Asteraceae (Composite family).

It is a deciduous hardy plant whose typical feature is its large red/yellowish flowers. These can be admired in the months of June, July, August, September.

Gaillardia's favourite spot in the garden is a sunny spot in a normal neutral (pH7) soil.
